Delegation of the State Audit Institution Participated at the Conference on Relations between Supreme Audit Institutions and Parliaments
Delegation of the State Audit Institution participated at the conference regarding relations between supreme audit institutions and parliaments, held on 18-20th of November in Przno, Montenegro.

During the conference, experiences were exchanged on building constructive relations between supreme audit institutions and parliaments, discussion was organized on factors affecting such relations, and initial stages of development of tools were reviewed that can be used by individual supreme audit institutions and parliaments for the purpose of strengthening mutual cooperation.

The conference gathered high ranking representatives of the Supreme Audit Institutions and parliaments from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia, Turkey and Kosovo* together with representatives of the European Court of Auditors and numerous international experts.

After the conference, a meeting was held of the Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions of the EU Candidate and Potential Candidate Countries, and the European Court of Auditors.

Goal of the meeting of the Heads was to stir and incite the work of the Network, and to reach decisions on subjects that are defined by the Network members as subjects of mutual interest, together with priority-setting for the next Draft Work Plan of the Network.

Conference and the meeting were organized within the Network of SAIs of Acceding, Candidate and Potential Candidate Countries and the European Court of Auditors.

Coordination, along with technical and financial support, was provided by OECD/SIGMA.
