Mr. Radoslav Sretenović, Auditor-General, emphasized that signing of the Memorandum represents an important event for both institutions.
“Supreme Office of Republic of Srpska Public Sector Auditing and the State Audit Institution are both developing institutions, and therefore mutual cooperation will be of utmost importance. I will strive to realize all forms of cooperation with the colleagues from the Republic of Srpska, stipulated by the provisions of the Memorandum", Mr. Sretenović said. He added that he was convinced that the signed Memorandum will be beneficial for both parties.
Mr. Duško Šnjegota, Auditor-General, said that signing of the Memorandum was a reflection of the wish to continuously work on the development and enhancement of external audit, through translation and implementation of international audit regulation, organization of joint conferences, meetings, as well as through exchange of professional experiences.
On behalf of the State Audit Institution of the Republic of Serbia, signing of the Memorandum was attended by Ms. Bojana Mitrović, Vice President, Mr. Duško Pejović, Supreme State Auditor in charge of audit of local authorities' budgets, Ms. Mirjana Marković, the Secretary and Ms. Iva Vasilić, Head of the Office of the President, while attendees on behalf of the Supreme Office of Republic of Srpska Public Sector Auditing were Ms. Olga Djekanović, Deputy Auditor-General, Mr. Milovan Bojić, Head of the Performance Audit Sector and Ms. Božana Simić, Head of the Information Tehnology Sector.
