President and Auditor General of the State Audit Institution (SAI), Dr. Duško Pejović, at the session of the Committee for Finance, Republic Budget and Control of Public Funds' Spending of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, presented the proposed Decision of SAI Financial Plan for 2018 along with projections for 2019 and 2020, and proposed Financial Plan of SAI for 2019 with projections for 2020 and 2021.
He stated that the proposed Decision of Financial Plan of SAI for 2018 was submitted for review as early as November 2017.
However, in the meantime there was an increase of funds from the budget reserve, in order to make payments of salaries and accompanying social contributions paid by the employer. The previous amount of 665,547,000 dinars now reads 701,986,000 dinars allocated for salaries (position 411), while 92,947,000 dinars for social contributions paid by employer (position 412), Dr. Pejović said.
He also presented proposed Financial Plan of SAI for 2019 which SAI submitted to the Committee on 9th November 2018. The Financial Plan amounts to 745,250,000 dinars, out of which 555,484,000 dinars are allocated to salaries, while social contributions paid by employeramount to 99,432,000 dinars.
Dr. Pejović said that this amount covers gross salaries for all 311 employees, as well as 7% increase for 2019, for the existing number of employees in SAI.
After the discussion, members of the Committee accepted the proposed Decision of the Financial Plan of SAI for 2018 along with projections for 2019 and 2020, and proposed Financial Plan of SAI for 2019 with projections for 2020 and 2021.
The session was chaired by Dr. Aleksandra Tomić, Chairperson of the Committee.
